This is my personal travel archive: a growing record of the places I have visited, the people I have met, and the experiences that have stayed with me. I am an American from Colorado who has lived, worked, studied, and traveled across the Americas and Europe. So far, my travels have taken me to 39 countries.
A record built from firsthand experience
The World Project is more than a list of countries or tourist recommendations. It’s a place to tell the stories of journeys I remember, the people I met, and the places that stayed with me. I have nearly two terabytes of my own photographs and videos to go through, and rediscovering those images will be a major part of bringing these experiences to life.
My memories are the starting point. Photographs and videos help me relive moments, notice details I’d forgotten, and share what I saw. Emails, tickets, and calendars can help place those experiences in time, but the heart of the project is the life I’ve lived and the stories I want to tell.
Where the stories begin
My journey has taken me from childhood visits to Mexico and an early immersion in Mérida to Barcelona, Panama, Uruguay, Brazil, Portugal, and life in France. Along the way, language learning, work, and curiosity have often shaped my travels as much as the destinations themselves.
The project also includes meaningful journeys within the United States—especially Colorado’s mountains, national parks, historic towns, and road trips—rather than only international travel.
